According to a new study from Forage, Madison is ranked first among the best cities for young professionals for work-life balance. The company ranked over 400 U.S. cities based on 10 factors, including average commute times, average hours worked per week, unemployment rate, and walkability. Madison ranked the highest for its large young adult population (20–29), average hours worked per week, low commute time, and low unemployment rate. Waukesha also made the list, ranked at No. 7.
