CommercialSearch conducted a study to identify the locations that excel in both remote work capabilities and in-office infrastructure, highlighting those that offer the best of both worlds and finding Madison near the top. The study included the 210 cities across the U.S. with at least 100,000 residents and complete data across 18 metrics.
Madison came in at No. 19. Key findings included:

The sum of Madison’s respective work-from-home and work-from-office scores totaled 55.2 points out of 100;

Madison was found to have the shortest one-way commute at just 19.3 minutes, while the top-20 average was 24.3 minutes;

Citizens of Madison have access to roughly 110 parks per 100,000 residents, which is the fifth-highest density among the cities within the top 20.Â
Overall, a total of four Midwestern cities placed among the top 20 entries.
