Madison police reported that burglars hit Vilas Zoo early this morning, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
Around 4:30 a.m., police received a call from zoo security, who reported that people were inside the store damaging property and attempting to breach the ATM. Officers set up a perimeter and brought in a drone team and K9 unit.
The investigation is ongoing, and no information has yet been provided on possible arrests.
