Madison police were dispatched to The Old Fashioned at 23 N. Pinckney St. on Thursday, Oct. 19 at approximately 10:02 p.m. regarding a weapons offense involving a knife, according to a police incident report.
The female suspect displayed a kitchen style knife, was threatening to kill, and actively slashed at a male. Madison police officers and a sergeant arrived quickly to the scene and effectively took her into custody without incident. Shawnicia Youmas, 33, has been charged with disorderly conduct while armed and felony bail jumping.
As a result of this altercation, a male, Ronald Grant, 32, was also arrested. He has been charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of felony bail jumping.
The area was canvassed and city cameras checked; however, anyone with information is encouraged to submit an anonymous tip.
