Madison nonprofit Community Living Connections Inc. has been awarded the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber Nonprofit Organization of the Year Award, according to a release from the chamber. The award is given to a nonprofit organization that is a member of the chamber, has a track record of success, and a commitment to building a diverse community. Community Living Connections supports individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and frail elders to live as independently as possible in their own homes. The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce Business Awards is a program that recognizes the contributions made by businesses and individuals in building a stronger LGBTQ+ and allied business community.
