Madison’s Central Business Improvement District (BID) announced the return of the expanded Madison Night Market this Thursday, June 12, from 5-9 p.m. The market on Capitol Square will extend onto North Carroll, West Mifflin, State and Gilman streets, with a variety of products offered by local artisans and food vendors.
Vendors and State Street retailers will offer handmade products, local art, gifts, prepared food and fresh produce. There will also be food carts and pop-up restaurant experiences.
A new Family Activity Zone will feature Madison School & Community Recreation Mobile Programs. It will also host Madison mascots such as Forward Madison FC’s “Strut” and the Madison Mallards’ “Maynard” for photo opportunities, along with the Madison Nightmares women’s softball team.
Thursday’s live music lineup will feature:

Mona Augustin (5-6:30 p.m.) and Kat & the Hurricane (7-9 p.m.) at the Peace Park Music Stage, 452 State S.;

Eric De Los Santos (5-9 p.m.) at the intersection of the Capitol Square and State Street;

Wendy Lynn Marcus (5-7 p.m.) on the 200 block of State Street; and

Becca Murray (starting at 6 p.m.) at the Frances Street Plaza.
