In its “Best Places to Retire” ranking for 2020, Money Magazineranked Madison first in the nation. The ranking takes into consideration housing, climate, diversity, and safety.
The list also named the following communities in its top 10 places to retire: Largo, Florida; Lower Merion, Pennsylvania; Franklin, Tennessee; Boise, Idaho; Lakewood, Colorado; Asheville, North Carolina; Bridgewater, New Jersey; Roseville, California; and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
