Madison-Kipp Corp. broke ground Monday on a major 90,000-square-foot expansion of its facility in Sun Prairie. The project will include an estimated $3.5 million in construction costs and allow for the expansion and consolidation of off-site warehousing, as well as additional manufacturing space.

The City of Sun Prairie is providing TIF assistance to reimburse the developer for $274,000 several onsite improvements that ensured the selection of the Sun Prairie location as the expansion site.

The developers and owners of the project are John Schaefer and Mike Campbell, and the builder will be CSI Construction. The project is scheduled for completion by summer 2016.
