Hub International Limited, a global insurance brokerage, has acquired substantially all of the assets of Wisconsin-based Murphy Group Holdings and its subsidiaries through its Chicago-area region Hub International Midwest.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Murphy is a multi-line insurance brokerage located near Madison at 251 Progress Way in Waunakee.
The Murphy team will continue to operate from its current Madison-area locations in Waunakee and Waukesha. Hub Midwest currently has offices in Milwaukee and Sheboygan.
August Felker, Murphy’s CEO, will continue to lead the team locally and report to Neil Hughes, president of Hub Midwest’s Chicago-area region.
