In an effort to prepare for increased demand due to the spread of COVID-19, Madison hospitals are postponing nonessential procedures, according to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal.
UW Health, SSM Health, and UnityPoint Health-Meriter all said they are reaching out to patients to reschedule or temporarily cancel many nonurgent surgeries and procedures.
