An online petition by Meriter Hospital workers demands additional paid sick leave, staffing, and hazard pay during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report by the Wisconsin State Journal.
The workers claim Meriter has withheld information and created confusion and division among the hospital’s staff. In a statement, UnityPoint Health-Meriter says it is appreciative of the team’s effort and shared sacrifice.
