The Madison Fire Department is hiring the next class of Firefighter/EMTs this spring.
To provide more information, Madison Fire will host recruitment open houses. Each event offers the opportunity to connect with current members of the Madison Fire Department and learn about a day in the life of a firefighter/EMT.
Applications for firefighters/EMTs will be accepted from April 1 through May 26, 2026. No prior experience in fire/EMS is necessary to apply.
