Madison Development Corp. will cut the ribbon on the new Graaskamp Apartment Building on Thursday, Aug. 5, at noon, according to a release from United Way of Dane County. The project,at 1946 E. Washington Ave., includes 44 units of affordable workforce housing with a mix of efficiencies through three-bedroom units, a fitness center, and a community room with a patio and grill. The event will include tours of the building beginning at 11 a.m.
