Citing imposed restrictions on the size of gatherings, and the unanticipated termination of nearly all conferences, weddings, and state- and university-related business, the Madison Concourse Hotel has laid off 114 workers, according to a letter to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
Affected positions cover several departments including housekeeping, reservations, banquet, and culinary.
