Madison-based Propeller Health will begin distributing its digital health platform in Japan to patients who use two inhaler medications to treat uncontrolled asthma, according to a report from Wisbusiness.com.
Novartis, a Propeller partner, received approval for Enerzair Breezhaler for use in Japan on June 29 for the treatment of bronchial asthma. Propeller’s health platform helps manage the condition by attaching a sensor to the Enerzair or Atectura Breezhaler inhalers, which then delivers objective data on medication use on the patient’s smartphone.
