Madison companies donate masks

Shree Kalluri, CEO of Madison-based Zerology, has donated 16,000 KN95 masks to law enforcement agencies, according to a report by the Wisconsin State Journal. Kalluri sourced the masks through global business partners after he realized they were in short supply.

Meanwhile, Madison-based manufacturer Aprilaire donated a supply of 150 N95 masks to UW Hospital in Madison. In an announcement, the company stated the supply was originally allocated for its routine deep-cleaning of the plant. Aprilaire is currently working with local partners to test MERV 16 filter material in the development of respiratory masks.
