Madison College and the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point have announced a new transfer agreement aimed at making it easier for accounting students to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Under the agreement, Madison College students who complete an associate degree in accounting can transfer up to 62 credits to UW–Stevens Point’s Sentry School of Business and Economics, entering at the junior level. To qualify, students must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and meet UWSP’s admission requirements.
The partnership streamlines the transfer process, offering a cost-effective pathway for students looking to advance their careers in accounting.
This agreement adds to existing transfer options between the two schools, which also include pathways for nursing and early childhood education students.
More details on the transfer program are available on Madison College’s website.
