A ribbon cutting ceremony on Jan. 15 will usher in Madison College’s Early Learning Campus.
The $10 million project will expand access to child care in south Madison and train early childhood educators.
Surveys of Madison College students showed a lack of child care as a barrier, and the new center will help address this while also providing professional training.
The new campus can serve up to 85 children, is 20,324 square feet and will open on Jan. 20.
The lack of access to affordable child care is a persistent issue in Wisconsin’s Capital Region.
