High school students from across the region will take the stage at the Madison College Pitch Competition on the Truax campus May 1.
Students will pitch original business ideas, inspired by real-world challenges and personal experiences.
This year’s event has increased participation and more developed, thoughtful concepts from students at the submission stage, according to a statement.
There are 19 students from eight high schools competing, including Reedsburg, Middleton, Madison West and others.

The event is 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Madison College Truax Campus at 1701 Wright St., Room D1630.
Judges include leaders from Findorff, Summit Credit Union and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
