In response to escalating concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Madison College is extending the closure of all facilities until May 15, 2020, while Edgewood College announced that it will complete the remainder of the spring semester fully online after spring break.
At Madison College, all facilities district-wide will remain closed, but classes will resume in online delivery formats as appropriate and whenever possible beginning March 30. All college-wide activities are canceled until May 15.
Students currently enrolled in classes will receive more information from faculty about their specific courses before March 30. Students should watch their campus email, visit Madison College’s website pages devoted to COVID-19 updates, or follow news updates on its official Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts.
Meanwhile, Edgewood College is currently on spring break, and classes will resume fully online on Monday, March 23, 2020. Residence hall access is limited to those who need housing through the end of the spring semester, and the college is developing plans to allow additional access to the halls for students and families directly affected.
