Megan Hile has opened Madison Chocolate Co. at the corner of Monroe and Glenway streets in west Madison.

According to the Wisconsin State Journal, the new space offers hand-made chocolates, including candies from a global array of chocolatiers, and serves coffee from Kin Kin in Madison.

The 1,100-square-foot, 18-seat shop at 729 Glenway St. features a 400-square-foot production kitchen, a $15,000 continual tempering machine used to coat chocolate, a guitar slicer to cut slabs of ganache, and a caramel machine.
