Closed since March 2020, the Madison Children’s Museum is planning for a phased reopening in June, according to the organization. The museum’s new hours of operation will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with museum members welcomed back starting on June 3. The museum will be open to the general public on June 24. Safety protocols including reduced capacity, masks for those ages 3 and up, and reserved tickets will be followed. The museum has broken ground on a major expansion project called the Wonderground, which will feature a climbing sculpture, new outdoor play space, and assorted smaller hands-on exhibits and adventures.
