Brenda Baker and Kia Karlen, both serving as co-CEOs of the Madison Children’s Museum since October, have been given the job permanently, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.

Baker and Karlen have worked at the museum in various capacities for over 30 years. They took on the interim role in October when former CEO Tom Linfield resigned from the position, citing health concerns.

His last day was Nov. 3, and the museum board voted unanimously to elect Baker and Karlen permanently last week.

For more than 35 years, Baker has curated exhibit spaces, brought in community voices and art and served on the board of trustees at the Association of Children’s Museums.
