Madison business wins LGBTQ Business of the Year award

Auntie M’s Creations has won the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber’s Business of the Year award. The award recognizes “an LGBTQ-owned business that is a member of the chamber, is an active participant in building a more diverse business community in Wisconsin, and has a proven track record of success and involvement,” according to a statement from the chamber. Auntie M’s Creations is a nationally certified LGBT Business Enterprise headquartered in Madison. The business has participated in multiple community events in their region as a vendor and exhibitor, working to help encourage members of the LGBTQ community to shop and support other LGBTQ businesses. Auntie M’s Creations has also been a vocal member of the chamber serving as an example to others to join and get involved. 

This award and others will be presented at the chamber’s Business Awards & Showcase event, presented by BMO Harris Bank, on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. The event is open to the public with tickets available online.
