The Madison Board of Education on Monday voted in favor of making facility improvements as part of a Long Range Facilities Plan, WKOW reports. The plan would include improvements to aging buildings and be updated every three years.

Additionally, the board passed a resolution to create a Long Term Capital Investment Trust Fund with a five-to-one vote.

Final changes will be made to the creation of the measures in June. The board will also approve a preliminary 2024–25 budget and consider fall 2024 referenda ballot questions.
