The Madison Black Chamber of Commerce announced in a recent press release that Madison Black Restaurant Week will take place from Aug. 13–20. In honor of Black Business Month in August, Madison Black Restaurant Week will celebrate the contributions of Black entrepreneurs, chefs, and restaurateurs to the local culinary scene.
Throughout the week, participating Black-owned restaurants across Madison will offer discounts, special menus, and unique dining experiences to customers, featuring a variety of cuisine from comfort food to African-inspired delicacies.
The week-long celebration will culminate with a grand finale, the Madison Black Restaurant Week Food Taste Jamboree on Aug. 20 in the FEED Kitchen parking lot. Attendees will have the chance to sample a diverse array of cuisines, mingle with local chefs, and learn about the stories and traditions behind the dishes offered.
