Madison-based foundation expands giving through state endowment fund

Wispact, a manager of Special Needs Trusts based in Madison, has established a new Wispact Foundation Endowment Fund to expand services through the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, according to a release from the organization. The foundation provides charitable grants to nonprofit organizations providing services to persons with disabilities. Wispact has placed $3.2 million at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and hopes to distribute $100,000 in charitable grants in the 2021 grant cycle, expanding the use of Wispact’s charitable Retained Fund to a much wider audience across Wisconsin.
