Milwaukee-based Dohmen Company Foundation acquired Madison-based FoodChain, a digital online marketplace system that speeds the process of exchange between local food producers and local food purchasers, according to a report in the Biz Times.
FoodChain was founded by two UW–Madison 2019 graduates. It is Dohmen’s fourth acquisition in the past five months since transitioning from a family-owned S-corporation to a benefit corporation focused on improving health outcomes in the community.
