The Madison City Council has approved and adopted its first Historic Preservation Plan aimed at guiding the future of history districts in the city, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport.

The plan is the result of committee work started in 2017 and outlines priorities to showcase Madison’s character and identity while guiding the city’s policy on preservation.
