U.S. News and World Report recently published its 100 Best Places to Live in America rankings, and Madison came in at number 24.

The city scored high for restaurants, high-tech jobs, arts, and education, but lost points on cost of living compared to similar sized cities. Denver topped the list, followed by Austin.

The findings were the result of individual surveys and also used data from other sources including the U.S.  Census Bureau, the FBI, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
