Mohammad Kalboneh, owner of Mad Shawarma, a Mediterranean restaurant at 610 Junction Road, says the restaurant has closed.
According to a Wisconsin State Journalbrief, Kalboneh says he couldn’t find employees knowledgeable enough about Mediterranean food, and in particular the signature offering, shawarma, a Mediterranean meat wrapped in pita or flatbread, similar to gyros. Family and friends had been helping out since the restaurant opened just over a year ago.
