M3 Insurance released its annual 2016 Health Benefits Trend Report based on data obtained from 646 of its clients statewide.
The report shows a 6.7% increase in health plan premiums over the past year, the second highest rate of change since 2011 but a slowdown from 2015, according to a release.
In the 15-county southwest Wisconsin geographic area including Dane, the average increase was 7.2%.
