The Community Development Authority (CDA) of the city of Madison, together with the city’s Economic Development Division, announced that it has executed a lease with Luna’s Groceries to open a store in the former Yue‐Wah grocery space at the Village on Park mall in south Madison, located at 2328 S. Park St. Luna’s Groceries is a healthy food retailer in the Allied‐Dunn’s Marsh Neighborhood, as well as a community resource hub.

Before Luna’s can open its new store, the CDA will renovate the current store space. The grocery renovations are expected to be completed in late spring of 2024, with Luna’s making its tenant improvements afterward. The CDA’s adjacent new parking garage is estimated to be completed in the spring of 2025 and is being built as part of the redevelopment of the property to support the tenants of the Village on Park, the Hub, the Goodman Library, and the Urban League of Greater Madison.
