LGC of London, England has acquired Middleton-based Lucigen Corp., a developer, manufacturer, and supplier of molecular biology enzymes, reagents, and kits.
Lucigen launched in 1998 and has 65 employees.
In a release, Ralph Kauten, Lucigen CEO, said that being part of LGC’s larger, global group will enable the company to further expand its reach to new markets. Terms were not disclosed.
