Simon Dettinger, bartender for Vintage Spirits and Grill for over two decades, will be opening up a new bar in early 2024, according to The Capital Times. The new spot, Northside Lounge, will open in a stand-alone building next to Cafe La Bellitalia at 1022 N. Sherman Ave.
Dettinger will rent the 1,200-square-foot space with an indoor capacity of around 50–60 people and an outdoor patio capacity of 30–40. The bathrooms, bar area, and patio will be highly accessible.
Planned hours of operation will include most weekdays from 3 p.m–midnight, Saturday beginning at 11 a.m., and Sunday beginning at noon. The bar will be closed on Tuesdays.
