Long-time State Street head shop to close

Pipefitter, a State Street retailer since 1972, will close its doors for good, according to a story from the Wisconsin State Journal. The shop sold scented candles, CBD products, bongs, pipes, and rolling papers. The location, at 520 State St., has been closed since March 2020. Social media posts by the business do not mention the COVID-19 pandemic, but it may be an underlying cause for the closure.
