The Fitchburg Technology Campus-Phase II and the DeForest Business Park received “Certified in Wisconsin” designations from Gov. Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp (WEDC). Certified sites are development-ready and approved by the WEDC as meeting specific development criteria, and the designation should help accelerate business start-up activity and growth. The WEDC hopes to certify 30 such sites over the next three years.
