Local networking and educational nonprofit Social Media Breakfast Madison is hosting an awards ceremony and 15th anniversary celebration this Friday, Oct. 11, from 6–9 p.m. at Serendipity Labs to recognize the winners of the first-ever Social Media Marketing Awards in Madison.
The awards are made up of 14 different categories, including Best Overall Social Media Presence, Best Social Media Campaign, Best Use of Social Media for a Cause, Best Social Media Influencer, Best Use of Video, Best Podcast, and more. Nominations began in early September, and nearly 50 local businesses and individuals were nominated by community members to win an award. More than 250 people voted for the nominees, and the winners in each category will be officially announced at the awards ceremony.
