Willy Street Coop has added online ordering for sandwiches, boxed salads, quick meals, and other items through the ChowNow app, according to a Capital Times report. The move takes these items off their traditional e-commerce system launched in the summer of 2019 to capitalize on the different timing of these items.
Online grocery orders such as meat, produce, and pantry items are typically ordered days in advance and do not include grab-and-go items. Utilizing the app will allow the stores to fill the demand for quick meal items faster.
