Main Street Alliance, 9to5 Wisconsin, Wisconsin Early Childhood Action Needed, and Motherhood For Good announced that they will gather with nearly 100 Wisconsin families, workers, and small business owners in Madison on Tuesday, March 18 to rally at the Capitol and meet with lawmakers to advocate for the needs of Main Street and working families.
This coalition of business owners and workers will be focused on issues such as:

Securing $500 million in child care investments;

Advocating for paid family and medical leave;

Expanding access to postpartum Medicaid coverage for new parents; and

Supporting measures to make starting and operating a small business easier.Â
The event will begin at Garver Feed Mill, 3241 Garver Green, from 10 a.m.-noon and end at the Wisconsin State Capitol, 2 E. Main St., from noon-5 p.m.
