Local arts organization plans Solar Powered Circus

Madison Circus Space announced it will present Solar Powered Circus, an all-ages show featuring sustainable energy-themed new circus acts by local talent. The event recognizes the completion of a fundraising campaign that will allow the nonprofit to install solar panels in the spring of 2022 through MadiSUN Backyard Solar and other grant programs. The new solar system will generate 33 megawatt-hours of electricity each year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 793 tons over the 30-year expected lifespan of the system. The Solar Powered Circus event will be held on Friday, March 25, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, March 26, at 5 and 7 p.m. It will be emceed by Josh Casey, a professional comedy juggler and Guinness World Record holder.
