The Literacy Network is recruiting summer and fall semester interns for upcoming adult literacy programs.
The organization provides free classes and tutors to Madison-area adults, many of whom are immigrants and refugees, who struggle with reading, writing, speaking English, or basic computer skills. Successful interns working eight to 10 hours a week can earn $500 to $600 per semester.
The application deadline for the summer session (May 22–Aug. 25) is April 15; for the fall session (Sept. 4–Dec. 15) the deadline to apply is July 29.
