Gov. Scott Walker has signed a bill allowing shoppers at liquor stores, supermarkets, and other retailers to sample half-ounce shots of spirits. The measure, supported by the Distilled Spirits Council, is intended to even the playing field for alcohol manufacturers, since wine and beer sampling has been allowed for years at Wisconsin retail locations with liquor licenses.
