Gov. Tony Evers has issued an emergency order simplifying licensing of health care workers to respond to the increasing demand for services amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The order eliminates some late renewal fees for people whose licenses have lapsed, allows the state Department of Safety and Professional Services to eliminate some credentialing requirements, and allows workers with valid licenses from other states to practice in Wisconsin.
