UW–Madison is considering a $6 million project to redevelop its Library Mall area of campus with landscaping, shade trees, interactive water features, seating, and elements to honor the site’s Ho-Chunk heritage, according to a Wisconsin State Journalarticle. UW will present its “Library Mall Advanced Plan” to the city’s Joint Campus Area Committee on Thursday, July 28. Once funding is secured, the design and construction process is projected to take approximately 24 months.
