The Latino Chamber of Commerce of Dane County will celebrate its 10th anniversary during its annual gala at 6 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Concourse Hotel.
“We’ve enjoyed helping Latino-owned businesses prosper over the past 10 years,” Chamber President Julia Arata-Fratta, an accountant at Wegner CPAs, said. “It’s through our wonderful partners, members and volunteers that we’ve been able to accomplish what we have and reach this milestone.”
Leaders from Madison’s business community are slated to speak at the gala. Wendy Bauman, president of WWBIC, will discuss the business role of Hispanics in Wisconsin, and Zach Brandon, president of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, will outline business trends that favor the city’s strengths and culture of innovation.
The event will include a Latino art display, live music, and a silent auction.
In addition, the Latino Chamber will hand out its annual awards, including Latino Business of the Year and Latino Entrepreneur of the Year.
More than 300 people attended last year’s gala. For more information, please visit camaralatinadecomercio.org.
