The Wisconsin Latino Chamber of Commerce is planning a move to a 15,000-square-foot space in Fitchburg after the $5 million purchase and renovation is complete, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The move is being funding by a capital campaign that will soon be unveiled. The chamber recently received a $3.4 million investment from the state aimed at supporting minority entrepreneurs. The chamber, currently serving 643 businesses in 24 Wisconsin counties, plans to use the funding to hire several employees, increase its outreach efforts in rural communities, and build on a program that offers small loans.
