The Latino Academy of Workforce Development, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County, and WRTP Big Step are hosting a construction career fair on March 7 at Fitchburg’s McKenzie Regional Workforce Center, 5215 Verona Road, according to Madison365. The event, which will run from 9 a.m.–5 p.m., is set to feature 20 construction employers and welcome job seekers pursuing a career in the trades.
The Latino Academy has hosted a similar event in the past, but this will be the first time it is held in collaboration with the other organizations. So far, 12 employers are registered for the 20 spots available, and organizers are seeking additional registrants. Those registered include:
