A bakery known for kringle and whipped cream cake is back in operation after closing in 2023, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
Lane’s Bakery was a family-owned business open for 69 years, and though the revival won’t have a retail component, new ownership said it will be reviving “Lane’s favorites.”
New owners Christina Sutherland and Tim Lee will host multiple pop-up events for customers, with the first on Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m. at the new bakery’s location at 2120 W. Greenview Drive in Middleton. This is the same location where phone and email orders can be picked up.
Sutherland and Lee run Innovation Eats, which owns Lane’s, TnT’s Catering and Capital Popcorn.
Previous owner Chuck Lane is teaching the new owner how to make Lane’s products.
