Lands’ End en route to independence

After much speculation, Sears Holdings Corp. has begun to spin off Dodgeville-based Lands’ End, Inc. to shareholders as a separate publicly traded company. Lands’ End is expected to trade on the Nasdaq under the symbol LE. Sears acquired Land’s End in 2002.
